Chinese Acupuncture

Traditional Chinese Acupuncure and Moxibustion is a part of Traditionl Chinese medicine (TCM). TCM is a holistic approach to health, looking at whole body energetic balance and the reasons for its disturbance. Often the cause of the problem will be in a different place from where the person is experiencing discomfort.

The aim of the treatment is to restore energetic balance to alleviate symptoms and to take care of the root cause of disturbances.

Use of heat therapy by moxubastion is a significant part of TCM. Many conditions will respond much quicker to the combination of acupuncture with moxibustion. We use moxibustion in conjunction with Acupuncture, especially for elderly and weak and depleted people with chronic conditions.

Herbal teas are used in TCM in conjunction with Acupuncture to promote energy and blood circulation to strengthen the body's ability to resist pathoenic factors, to tranquilize the mind, and to support longevity by tonifying the system.

For over 3,000 years, Oriental Medicine is using the concept of Yin and Yang to treat and differentiate diseases. This concept is still a puzzle to the western mind.
