Auriculotherapy is the use of the auricle (Ear)
for therapeutic purposes. It is a technology that originated in 1959 by a French
neurologist, Dr. Paul Nogier, and based on the 2,000 years old practice of
Chinese Ear Acupuncture.
Dr. Nogier discovered that the human ear is a microcosmic representation of the entire body with all the anatomical parts inclusive of the head, torso, internal organs, neurological systems and extremities.
For every part and organ in the body there is a corresponding reflex point in the ear. The ear therefore could be used to correct disorders of distant body parts or internal organs.
Dr. Nogier introduced a modern system of Reflex points - Acupuncture points and a new
NEEDLE - FREE
technique of the microcurrent stimulation for pain relief and other disorders.
For the last 25 years auricular therapy has been successfully used in Europe and now in US.
Large number of studies carried out in United States at the UCLA Pain
Management Center demonstrated the clinical effectiveness of
auricular therapy for the relief of acute and chronic pain, and success in
physiological and stress related disorders.
Nelly Tsivina Ph.D. incorporates in her practice Dr. Nogier's modern system of reflex points and
a new needle free technique of treating health problems with electronic device.
In her practice she utilizes over 100 Auricular Therapy protocols including:
